Our interest in natural skin care grew out of personal use and experience. We felt there must be a better way to healthy, vibrant skin than through the chemically preserved and enhanced products so readily available. After having a daughter of our own, that interest was even more important to us. We did not want to use chemicals on our daughter’s pure skin. Even though there were so called “natural” and “organic” products to be found, it seemed difficult to find totally chemical-free products which contained only pure ingredients. That is when we started to research and truly find out the difference between “natural”, "organic" and “certified organic”.

Unless products display the USDA (U.S. Department of Agriculture) certification seal, there is no way to assure these products are organic. Due to the fact there are no requirements for use of the terms "natural" or "organic", companies can define them as they choose. It is up to the consumer to be informed and not fooled. However, the term “certified organic” is governed by strict NOP (National Organic Program) requirements. The USDA organic seal supports truth in labeling. The only way you can guarantee the organic authenticity and integrity of every ingredient in the product is the USDA seal on the label. This can then truly be called a “natural” product!

Although “natural” or “organic” ingredients may be included on the labels of many body products, quite often, such small quantities are used that there is little benefit created. We believe body products applied to the soft and delicate skin of infants can be absorbed into their bloodstream and carried through their system. An infant’s skin is their largest organ which is extremely porous. Infants deserve a good start in life, and we can help them by not introducing their system to noxious chemicals. We must do all we can to protect our “little angels”.

Our products are free from all artificial preservatives, fragrances or dyes in order to preserve the purity one would expect while growing a “little angel” baby. The “certified organic” ingredients used in Organic Blessings™ products are more difficult to obtain, and therefore, more costly. Although we use large quantities of the finest certified organic ingredients currently available, we also strive to keep our prices as competitive as possible so that you can have the best for your family at a reasonable price. And in keeping with our commitment to honor our valuable resources, we use only eco-friendly recyclable or reusable packaging.
